Ruiny diskotéky a architektura noci

Abstract

Vo svojej bakalárskej práci sa venujem radikálnemu potenciálu ruiny. Glitch urbanizmus predstavuje hypotetickú taktiku na začlenenie opustených objektov do pôvodného prostredia bez potláčania ich mnohostí, identít a histórie. Glitch urbanizmus vidí v starostlivosti o ruinu potenciál na premyslenie spoločensko-priestorových vzťahov. Možný výsledok takéhoto prístupu ilustrujem na príklade rekonštrukcie bývalého obchodného domu Letná v mestskej časti Bystrc v Brne.

My bachelor’s thesis focuses on the radical potential of a ruin. Glitch urbanism represents a hypothetical tactic for the inclusion of abandoned objects into their natural environment without supressing their multiplicity of meanings and their history. Glitch urbanism sees caring about the ruin as a potential for rethinking spatial and political relationships. Here I present one possible outcome of this approach, which is the reconstruction of a former shopping centre OD Letná in the Brno-Bystrc municipality.
