Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá objektem nákupního centra Letná v Bystrci, které je v současné době opuštěné několik řadu let. Lokalita je součástí kapitoly Potenciálních míst v publikaci Undercover: Náhled do brněnské kultury, jež vznikla jako společná předdiplomová práce. Kniha se zabývá mapováním brněnské nezávislé scény formou rozhovorů s jednotlivými aktéry ze světa místní kultury. Návrh diplomové práce z části vychází ze sesbíraných dat knihy a reflektuje na problematiku určitých respondentů. Jedním z cílů nového programu objektu je skloubit a transformovat bohaté informace předdiplomní práce se současnou situací řešeného domu a jeho okolí v Bystrci. Stejně jako jsme v knize dospěli k závěru, že kultura a její nezávislost je otázkou určitého měřítka ovlivněného několika faktory, je i celková náplň nového centra Letná navržena ve smyslu proměnlivého rozsahu aktivit a potřeb místních obyvatel Bystrce a zkoumaných komunit v Brně. Návrh pracuje s patry domu jako s platformami, kde jsou navazující funkce uspořádány do kompaktních celků v rámci jednoho podlaží. Posléze si každá komunita najde své oblast zájmu v Kulturním centru Letná. Návrh zachovává stávající nosnou konstrukci, do které jsou vkládány nové, zelené objemy polygonálních vestaveb do každého podlaží. Další důležitou částí rekonstrukce objektu je poloprůhledná skleněná fasáda se satinovanou povrchovou úpravou, která v pohledu skrze ní vytváří scenérii měnící se ostrosti hran a barevné intenzity vestaveb a proměnlivou viditelnost celkového dění uvnitř. Součástí nové vrstvy jsou i vertikální vestavby v podobě bazénů, které prostupují patry a dotvářejí celkovou dispozici domu. Vzniká tak netradiční, různorodě lomená kompozice stěn a ploch v kontrastu s rastrem stávajících sloupů. Vedle samotné hmoty se rozdíl mezi novou a původní vrstvou projevuje i v dynamickém použití křiklavě zelených obkladových panelů vestaveb, které kontrastují s bílými a světle šedými sloupy a podhledy, odkazujícími na původní prefabrikovaný konstrukční systém. Cílem práce je přeměna chátrajícího nákupního centra Letná v živé centrum aktivit a zájmů pro obyvatele Bystrce i širší veřejnost z celého města. Vznik nového prostředí pro společenské soužití, seberozvoj a hlavně zábavu. Představit lidem pojem centrum nezávislé kultury formou hravého a neformálního prostoru, který přinese nové a alternativní způsoby rekreace a obohatí sociální život místních obyvatel.

The thesis deals with the Letná shopping centre in Bystrc, which has been abandoned for se - veral years. The site is part of the chapter Potential Sites in the publication Undercover. The book deals with the mapping of Brno‘s independent scene through interviews with individual actors from the world of local culture. The thesis proposal is partly based on the collected data of the book and reflects on the issues of certain interviewees. One of the aims of the new object programme is to combine and transform the rich information of the pre-diploma thesis with the current situation of the house under consideration and its surroundings in Bystrc. Just as we have concluded in the book that culture and its independence is a matter of a certain scale influenced by several factors, the overall content of the new Letná centre is designed in terms of the changing range of activities and needs of the local inhabitants of Bystrce and the communities under study in Brno. The design works with the floors of the building as platforms, where downstream functions are arranged in compact units within a single floor. Subsequently, each community will find its area of interest in the Letná Cultural Centre. The design retains the existing supporting structure into which new, green volumes of polygonal extensions are inserted on each floor. Another important part of the building‘s renovation is the semi-transparent glass façade with a satin finish, which, when viewed through it, creates a scenery of changing edge sharpness and colour intensity of the built-ins and a changing visibility of the overall action inside. The new layer also includes vertical built-ins in the form of pools that permeate the floors and complete the overall la - yout of the house. This creates an unusual, variously refracted composition of walls and surfaces in contrast to the grid of the existing columns. In addition to the mass itself, the difference between the new and original layers is also evident in the dynamic use of the garish green cladding panels of the built-ins, which contrast with the white and li - ght grey columns and ceilings, referring to the original prefabricated structural system. The goal of the work is to transform the dilapidated Letná shopping centre into a vi - brant centre of activity and interest for the residents of Bystrice and the wider public from across the city. The creation of a new environment for social coexistence, self - -development and above all entertainment. To introduce people to the concept of an independent cultural centre in the form of a playful and informal space that will bring new and alternative ways of recreation and enrich the social life of local residents.
