Půda v pohybu

Abstract

Diplomová práca s názvom “Pôda v pohybe” nadväzuje na preddiplomový projekt, ktorý skúmal premeny a pohyby pôdy v kontexte Brna. Práca je reakciou na plánovanú transformáciu Černovickej pieskovne, ktorá do pár rokov stratí svoj stávajúci účel, a to ukladanie nadbytočnej zeminy. To otvára otázku, ako naložiť s pôdou, ktorú dnes vnímame ako odpad a systematicky odsúvame mimo centra mesta aj záujmu. V rámci mestského plánovania ukazuje práca rôzne prístupy k integrácii pôdy do štruktúry mesta. Pôvodná centralizovaná depónia je v návrhu rozšírená o tri lokality, čím vytvára disperznú štruktúru. Každá lokalita so sebou prináša benefit rozšírenej služby a zároveň reflektuje odlišný spôsob práce so samotnou matériou v závislosti od kontextu. Práca tematizuje pôdu ako dynamickú matériu, ktorá je neustále v pohybe a zároveň skúma jej potenciál prispievať k zlepšovaniu mikrobiómu mestského prostredia.

The diploma thesis entitled “Shifting Soil” is a continuation of a pre-diploma project that investigated the transformations and movements of soil in the context of Brno. The thesis is a response to the planned transformation of the Černovice sandpit, which will lose its current purpose of storing surplus soil within a few years. This raises the question of how to deal with the soil, which today is perceived as waste and systematically relegated out of the city centre and out of interest. Within the framework of urban planning, the thesis shows different approaches to integrating land into the fabric of the city. In the proposal, the original centralised landfill is expanded by three sites, creating a dispersed structure. Each site brings with it the benefit of an extended service, while reflecting a different way of working with the matter itself depending on the context. The thesis thematizes soil as a dynamic matter that is constantly in motion, while exploring its potential to contribute to improving the microbiome of the urban environment.
