Převod barevných obrázků na černobílé

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou převodu barevných obrázků do odstínů šedi. Cílem této práce je implementovat a porovnat čtyři různé metody popsané v odborných článcích. Práce obsahuje teoretický úvod do problematiky, popis implementace všech metod, případné odchylky od článků a popis provedených experimentů. Výsledky metod byly porovnány s obrázky z článku a následně testovány na datasetu vytvořeném pro tuto práci. Dvě z metod jsou implementované přímo podle článku, jedna vyžadovala úpravu a u jedné se prvotní zdroj ukázal být nedostatečný pro úspěšnou implementaci. Důležitou částí celé této práce bylo porovnání metod, které proběhlo hlavně pomocí dotazníku. V závěru práce je zhodnocení přínosu obou metod a návrh jejich možného využití v praxi.This bachelor’s thesis deals with the problem of converting color images to grayscale. The goal of the thesis is to implement and compare four different methods described in academic articles. The thesis includes a theoretical introduction to the topic, a description of the implementation of all methods, possible deviations from the original papers, and an overview of the conducted experiments. The results of the methods were compared with images from the articles and then tested on a dataset created specifically for this thesis. Two of the methods were implemented directly according to the articles, one required adjustments, and one turned out to be unimplementable based on the original source. An important part of the work was the comparison of the methods, which was carried out mainly through a questionnaire. In conclusion, the thesis evaluates the contribution of the methods and suggests their potential practical applications.
