1435 mm. Fenomén mizení drobné železniční architektury

Abstract

„Železnice jako taková, je totiž bytostně dějinná a přitom kolektivní.“ S touto citací v hlavně jsem se rozhodla věnovat se tématu železnic a malé (a někdy ne až tak malé) železniční architektury. V této práci jsem zkoumala historický a urbanistický kontext železnice, zabývala jsem se současnými tématy, které se železnice týkají, analyzovala jsem a snažila se je adaptovat v kontextu konkrétní vlakové linky na Jižní Moravě. Cílem projektu bylo najít komplexní přístup k netypickému území lineárního tvaru a vytvoření strategií a přístupů k historické industriální architektuře malého měřítka, její adaptece a možnost přenesení historických postupů do současné doby.

„The railway as a human made creation, however, is inherently historical and collective-based.“ With this quote in mind I have decided to examine the topic of railways and the small (and sometimes not so small) architecture related to them. In this work I have explored historical and urban context of railway, found current topics related to it and then tried to analyse and apply them in the context of on specific train line in Southern Moravia. The aim of the project was to try to find an complex approach to a site of untypical scale and linear shape, as well as to examine different approaches towards historical small scale industrial architecture, its adaptation and possible translation to the current times.
