Abstract
Ďalej autor vo svojich kresbách i v niektorých videách pracuje so zobrazením umelej tváre - masky, ergo vychádza z knihy od Hansa Beltinga Face and Mask: A Double History.
“Fight Till Death” is a complex work of art that reflects the author's experiences from the past, when the acquired knowledge from the field of top sport is processed in an autobiographical way. The author uses his subcultural experiences that followed his end with whitewater rafting to form the subject matter, as indicated by the title of the work itself, motivated by a song by the American band Slayer. The title of the work is meant to stimulate the combativeness “beyond the grave” that is part of the motivation of acting in the field of elite sport, when the author, encouraged to dare to perform to the best of his ability, only came face to face with death. The work works primarily with the medium of video, in which ink drawing is also used, it is an exposition of different videos in the manner of a collage, with the music becoming an equal partner to the visual component. The aesthetics of drawings is in part noticeably stimulated by the work of Josef Váchal. The author presents a continuity with Váchal, namely with the illustrations from the book The Devil's Garden or the Natural History of Haunts, which he sees to some extent as a precursor of metal packaging “avant la lettre” before the emergence of metal itself. Furthermore, the author works with the depiction of an artificial face - a mask - in his drawings and in some of his videos, ergo drawing on Hans Belting's book Face and Mask: A Double History. The author's idea is to use the mask as a means to conceal qualities such as nihilism, chaos, death, loneliness, misanthropy, which are a consequence of the period of activities related to the top sport “Fight Till Death”. The result is an installation in the Káznice in Brno, the intention of which is to create the appearance of a metal club where a concert is currently taking place. The purpose is to create the impression in the recipient that he is present in the club at the concert, while the perception of metal music will stimulate him to be combative with the goal of victory.

Defence
Student představil dvoukanálovou video instalaci. Přednesl obhajobu diplomové práce. Vedoucí práce i oponent přečetli své posudky.
