Abstract

In the open literature while capacitors are introduced with -90 degrees phase angle, here we described our fabricated polymer composite, mixed matrix, as a fractional-order capacitor (FoC). The effect on phase and pseudo-capacitance using a detailed numerical and experimental study of series and parallel connections of three identical-order FoCs is shown. The used devices have excellent feature such as constant phase angle in the frequency range 0.2 MHz-20 MHz.
