Abstract

V rámci návrhu galerie v budově Ludwigova mlýna propojuje hmotu již existujícího síla s novostavbou. Prostory ve větru mlýna se zateplují způsobem vkládání krabicových modulů. Tyto moduly si s sebou nesou tepelnou izolaci a také potřebnou techniku pro zřízení depozitářů. tímto způsobem se zachovává původní obálka mlýnu. novostavba plní účel rozšíření kapacit a a spojuje se s budovou mlýna pomocí dvou přechodů. Jeden z nich je vstupní a druhý slouží jako přemostění. cirkulačně tak návštěvníci provedou okruh skrze obě budovy, přičemž se nakonec vrátí zpět na místo recepce která je umístěna v jednom z přechodů, a slouží i zároveň jako vstup do budovy.

As part of the design of the gallery in the Ludwig Mill building, it connects the mass of the existing power plant with the new building. The spaces in the wind of the mill are insulated by inserting box modules. These modules carry thermal insulation and also the necessary technology for setting up depositories. In this way, the original envelope of the mill is preserved. The new building serves the purpose of expanding the capacities and is connected to the mill building by means of two transitions. One of them is the entrance and the other serves as a bridge. In terms of circulation, visitors will make a circuit through both buildings, eventually returning to the reception area, which is located in one of the transitions, and also serves as the entrance to the building.
