| dc.description.abstract | Diplomová práce navazuje na předdiplomní projekt o stigmatizaci budov a nahlížení společnosti na objekty, které za sebou nemají zrovna nejpříjemnější minulost. Zabývá se otázkou nového využití chátrajícího objektu bývalé věznice v Uherském Hradišti. Projekt hledá smysluplný program a architektonické řešení, které by vrátilo objekt k životu a začlenilo jej zpět do městské struktury. a Zároveň si klade za cíl nezastírat pochmurnou minulost tohoto areálu a nesmazat historickou stopu vězeňství 19. a 20. století Diplomová práce navazuje na předdiplomní projekt o stigmatizaci budov a nahlížení společnosti na objekty, které za sebou nemají zrovna nejpříjemnější minulost. Zároveň si klade za cíl nezastírat pochmurnou minulost tohoto areálu a nesmazat historickou stopu vězeňství 19. a 20. století. Do objektu přemisťuje Slovácké divadlo působící v Uherském Hradišti. Slovácké divadlo sídlí v pronajatém prostoru bývalé Sokolovny. Velkou nevýhodou stávajícího divadla jsou malé prostory pro jeho zázemí. Dílny a sklady se zde nenachází vůbec. Navíc stávající budova divadla se nachází těsně u rušné silnice a nemá tak prostory, kde by se lidé mohli po divadle zdržet. Na symbolické úrovni je divadlo programem, který umožňuje městu vyrovnat se s problematickou minulostí vězeňské budovy živou formou. Návrh vězeňskou budovu nekonzervuje, „nemuzealizuje“. Nebojí se radikálních zásahů a bourání, což umožňuje nejen sladit provoz divadla s historickou budovou, ale zároveň principiálně uzavřený objekt kompletně zpřístupnit a ztransparentnit. Ze společnosti vědomě a skrze architektonický design vyčlenění objekt, který se stává svým vlastním opakem — společenským centrem přístupným všem. Společenským svědomím a zrcadlem není vězení, ale divadlo. Přestavba se ale zároveň nesnaží vězeňskou minulost vymazat. Zbylé fragmenty budov jsou ponechány v jejich surovosti s jasně čitelnou stopou samotek a fasádou ve stylu „Architecture terrible“. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract | The thesis is a continuation of a pre-diploma project on the stigmatization of buildings and society's perception of buildings that do not have the most pleasant past behind them. The project deals with the question of the new use of the decaying prison in Uherské Hradiště. Through a meaningful program, it seeks to bring the building back to life and incorporate the current 19th century time bubble back into the urban fabric, while not obscuring the grim past of the site. The thesis is a continuation of a pre-diploma project on the stigmatization of buildings and society's perception of buildings that do not have the most pleasant past behind them. It deals with the question of the new use of the decaying building of the former prison in Uherské Hradiště. The project seeks a meaningful program and architectural solution that would bring the building back to life and integrate it back into the urban fabric. The Slovácké Theatre, which operates in Uherské Hradiště, is moving into the building. The Slovácké Theatre is located in the leased space of the former Sokolovna. The big disadvantage of the existing theatre is the small space for its facilities. Workshops and warehouses are not located here at all. In addition, the existing theatre building is located just off a busy road and thus has no space for people to linger after the theatre. On a symbolic level, the theatre is a program that allows the city to deal with the problematic past of the prison building in a lively way. The proposal does not preserve the prison building, it does not "musealize" it. It is not afraid of radical interventions and demolition, which allows not only to harmonize the operation of the theatre with the historical building, but also to make the closed building completely accessible and transparent. Consciously and through architectural design, the object, excluded from society, becomes its own opposite: a social centre accessible to all. A social conscience and a mirror, not a prison, but a theatre. At the same time, the redevelopment does not try to erase the prison past. The remaining fragments of the buildings are left in their rawness, with a clearly legible trace of solitary confinement and a façade in the style of "architecture terrible". | en |
