Abstract

This paper focuses on the method of the relative permittivity of the material measurement by the  UWB radar. Especially, this paper focuses on the improvement of the existing method of the obstacle measurement in process of the persons monitoring by the UWB radar. Moreover, this improved method shows the deviation of measurement, in the scenario of measurement without successful condition about transversality on the incident wave. The improvement is based on the suitable position of the absorbers in the place of measurement. By this way, it is possible to attenuate the incident wave in the undesired places, where the curvature of the wavefront is considerable.
Tento článok sa venuje metóde merania relatívnej permitivity materiálu pomocou UWB radaru. Konkrétne sa venuje vylepšeniu už existujúcej metódy merania prekážok v procese monitorovania osôb pomocou UWB radaru. Navyše týmto vylepšením metóda poukazuje na chybu merania, ktorej sa je možné dopustiť pri nedodržaní podmienky tranzverzálnosti vysielanej vlny. Možnosť vylepšenia metódy sa týka vhodného rozloženia absorberov na meranom objekte, čím dôjde k útlmu opadajúcej vlny v miestach mimo záujmu, kde je zakrivenie čela vysielanej vlny značné.
