Abstract
Cílem diplomové práce je popis a možnosti úprav čtyřdobého spalovacího motoru, rozbor jednotlivých variant a nalezení nejúčinnější úpravy pro zadaný typ motoru. V další části práce se autor věnuje výpočtovému návrhu turbodmychadla, zvoleného pro úpravu motoru přeplňováním. Součástí práce je návrhový výpočet pro volbu turbodmychadla, následně je sestaven matematický model zadaného motoru v programu Lotus Engine Simulation a na závěr jsou prezentovány výsledky.
The aim of this thesis is the description and performance of four-stroke internal combustion engine, an analysis of the options and finding the most effective treatment for a given engine type. In the next section the author deals with computational design turbochargers, chosen for the turbocharged engine modification. Next chapter of work is a design calculation for the choice of the turbocharger, is then constructed a mathematical model of a given engine in the Lotus Engine Simulation software and final results are presented.

1) Z jakého důvodu nebyl pro úpravu motoru přeplňováním použit spíše kompresor, který se vyznačuje příznivým lineárním průběhem točivého momentu již od nízkých otáček?
2) V čem spočívá výhoda použití výfukového turbodmychadla z hlediska vykonané práce motoru? Demonstrujte energetickou bilanci přeplňovaného motoru v p-V diagramu.
