| dc.description.abstract | Characteristics of error rate is a critical factor in determining the quality of high-speed digital networks. Error rate characteristics for transmission over optical fibers is defined in recommendation G.8201, which extends the existing recommendations G.826, G.828 and G.829. Another important parameter which reflects the quality of DWDM systems is the Q - factor. The article describes the relationship between the Q - factor and error rate. | en |
