Komplikovaný vztah

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá přestavbou bývalého hotelu Podhoran v Bystřici pod Hostýnem. Současná budova, postavená v brutalistním stylu v 70.- 80. letech 20. století v Československu, je situována na náměstí, v sousedství kostela, radnice a zámku, což vytváří komplikovaný urbanistický vztah. Kromě toho je budova spojena se složitou historií. Její dobrý nosný systém a strategická poloha však poskytuje ideální základ pro adaptaci na novou funkci. Zaměření programu budovy na (nejen) mladší generaci reaguje na demografické výzvy města, kde průměrný věk obyvatel převyšuje významně celostátní průměr. Tento přístup představuje klíčový krok k zastavení demografického poklesu a stárnutí populace v menších městech. Nové zázemí a nabídka atraktivních aktivit, jako jsou kulturní a sportovní centra či prostory pro práci a setkávání, mohou motivovat mladé obyvatele k setrvání nebo přistěhování, přičemž zároveň řeší deficit těchto míst v Bystřici. Aktivní mladá populace nejenže vyrovnává věkovou strukturu, ale také přispívá k rozvoji místní ekonomiky, podporuje poptávku po službách a produktech a vytváří nové pracovní příležitosti. Takové kroky mají pozitivní dopad na rozvoj města a jeho oživení – od kulturního a společenského života přes atraktivitu pro turisty až po nabídku zajímavých volnočasových aktivit.

This bachelor thesis deals with the reconstruction of the former hotel Podhoran in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The current building, built in Brutalist style in the 1970s-1980s in Czechoslovakia, is situated on the square, adjacent to the church, town hall and castle, which creates a complicated urban relationship. In addition, the building is associated with a complex history. Its good support system and strategic location provide an ideal basis for adaptation to the new function. The focus of the building programme on (not only) the younger generation responds to the demographic challenges of the city, where the average age of the population is significantly higher than the national average. This approach is a key step in stemming demographic decline and population ageing in smaller towns. New facilities and the offer of attractive activities such as cultural and sports centres or spaces for work and socialising can encourage young residents to stay or move here, while also addressing the deficit of such places in Bystřice. An active young population not only balances the age structure but also contributes to the local economy, stimulates demand for services and products and creates new job opportunities. Such actions have a positive impact on the development of the town and its revitalisation - from its cultural and social life to its attractiveness for tourists and the range of interesting leisure activities on offer.
