This paper deals with SDON (Software Defined Optical Network) within OXC (Optical Crossconnect). SDON represents a new direction in the control of optical network. This direction concerns the management of optical network elements from one place through control plane and data plane. Outcome of this paper are simulations implemented in OMNeT++. These simulations show synchronization and communication during initialization of SDON with occurence of delay between SDON controller and OF (OpenFlow) agents.en
