Abstract
Článek se věnuje porovnání open source implementací technologie IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). Stručně je popsána technologie IMS a její architektura. Následně jsou uvedeny open source IMS projekty Open IMS Core a Project Clearwater. Tyto implementace byly podrobeny výkonnostnímu testováním s využitím hardwarového testeru Spirent Abacus 5000. Při výkonnostním testování byl zejména kladen důraz na stabilitu systémů, rychlost sestavení hovoru, dobu odezvy SIP (Session Initial Protocol) zpráv a~rychlosti registrace uživatelů do sítě, při různých úrovních zátěže. Článek se rovněž věnuje implementovanému zabezpečení komunikace v~uvedených projektech.
The article focuses on the comparison of open source implementations of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). The IMS technology and its architecture are briefly described. Subsequently, the open source IMS projects OpenIMS Core and Project Clearwater are presented. These implementations were subjected in detail to performance testing using the Spirent Abacus 5000 hardware tester. In performance testing, emphasis was placed on system stability, call set-up speed, response time of SIP messages and speed of user registration to the network, at different load levels. The article also focuses on the implementation of communication security in these projects.
