Centrum pro seniory v Brně-Medlánkách

Abstract

Architektonická studie centra pro seniory v Brně-Medlánkách navazuje na územní studii vypracovanou v předešlém semestru v rámci předmětu NGA056 – Specializovaný ateliér (ArA). Výsledkem územní studie byl návrh kompaktní zástavby, která kombinuje veškeré potřeby území od bydlení, přes veřejnou vybavenost, kostel, dopravní napojení s tramvajovou smyčkou, sportovní halu, park nebo centrum pro seniory. V rámci architektonické studie byl zpracován projekt na vytvoření komplexního centra pro seniory odpovídající současným standardům. Centrum nabízí širokou škálu služeb a vybavení, kvalitních společných prostor i soukromí ve vlastních pokojích a odpovídající přilehlé venkovní prostory. Návrh centra vychází z kompaktnosti a linearity. Centrum sestává ze dvou hlavních hmot, kdy větší z nich je natočena rovnoběžně s přilehlou komunikací. Druhá hmota je k ní pak natočená na kolmo a vzájemně jsou spojeny komunikačním blokem. V přední části u hlavní třídy tak vzniká menší vstupní předprostor orientovaný na západ, zatímco na východní straně se nachází větší prostor s parkem. Ten je vymezen ze dvou stran budovami centra, dále přilehlými bytovými domy a zelení oddělující stávající zástavbu. Díky tomu nabízí klidný prostor pro seniory. Obě hmoty se nachází nad podzemní parkovištěm, které zasahuje i pod vstupní prostor. Jednotlivé budovy jsou pak rozděleny dle poskytovaných služeb i typu péče. Parter nabízí množství služeb, kavárnu a hlavní vstup do objektu a spolu s dalšími funkcemi v předprostoru tak vytváří aktivní místo pro setkávání klientů spolu s veřejností. Centrum se snaží vytvořit důstojné soudobé prostory pro pobyt klientů i jejich začlenění do okolí a zajistit jim příjemnou atmosféru a sounáležitost s novým domovem.The architectural study of the senior center in Brno-Medlánky builds upon the territorial study carried out in the previous semester as part of the subject NGA056 - Specialized Studio (ArA). The result of the territorial study was a proposal for a compact development that combines all the needs of the area, from housing, through public amenities, a church, transportation connections with a tram loop, sports hall, park, to a senior center. Within the architectural study, a project was developed to create a comprehensive senior center that meets current standards. The center offers a wide range of services and facilities, quality common areas, as well as privacy in individual rooms and corresponding adjacent outdoor spaces. The design of the center is based on compactness and linearity. The center consists of two main volumes, with the larger one oriented parallel to the adjacent road. The second volume is perpendicular to it and they are connected by a communication block. In the front part facing the main road, a smaller entrance courtyard is created oriented to the west, while on the eastern side there is a larger space with a park. This area is bordered by the center's buildings on two sides, as well as adjacent residential buildings and greenery separating it from existing development, offering a peaceful space for seniors. Both volumes are located above an underground parking lot, which also extends under the entrance area. The individual buildings are then divided according to the services provided and the type of care. The ground floor offers a variety of services, a café, and the main entrance to the building, creating an active meeting place for clients and the public. The center aims to create dignified contemporary spaces for clients' stay and their integration into the surroundings, providing them with a pleasant atmosphere and a sense of belonging to their new home.
