| dc.description.abstract | The final version of the new recommendations IEEE 802.3av was released in September2009. The recommendation defines a new version of passive optical network 10GEPON, whichrepresents the next evolution step of the previous version EPON. The new type of passive opticalnetwork offers the transmission speed of 10 Gbps and improves the transmission characteristics of theprevious version EPON in many ways. Together with these improvements, it was possible to mantainthe backward compatibility with EPON, which allows the simultaneous operation of both types withina single optical network. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | V září 2009 byla vydána finální verze doporučení IEEE 802.3av. Doporučení definuje novou variantu pasivní optické sítě10GEPON, která představuje další vývojový krok původního typu EPON. Jak již z jejího označení vyplývá, nabízí nová pasivní optická síťpřenosovou rychlost až 10 Gbit/s a vylepšuje v mnoha ohledech parametry původní sítě EPON. Zároveňse však u nové sítě10GEPON podařilo zachovat zpětnou kompatibilitu, což umožňuje současný provoz obou variant v rámci jedné optické sítě. | cs |
