dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with numerical analysis of lightning stroke effects on aircraft. Computations are implemented by the use of the time-domain solver (FIT). Attention is turned to a simple model of a composite nose part of the airplane EV-55. The analysis of the model itself is performed for two fundamentally different basic conceptions of a possible protection against direct effects of lightning.en
