| dc.description.abstract | Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem Kreativního centra v Kopřivnici, které bude utvářet ideální prostředí pro zkoumání, prezentaci a diskusi o zásadních společenských tématech prostřednictvím různých typů umění (vizuální umění, literatura, performing arts atd.) Řešené území se nachází v samotném centru města Kopřivnice – z jihozápadu je vymezeno ulicí Štefánikova, ze severovýchodní strany parcelu ohraničuje železnice, která tvoří hranici mezi rozsáhlým areálem Tatra a zbytkem města. Vzhledem k historickému kontextu a poloze v sobě místo skýtá potenciál, který by návrhem centra současného umění mohl být naplněn. Svým návrhem se snažím reflektovat skutečnou hodnotu místa, a tak historické zástavbě zděných hal dodávám dynamiku organickými křivkami dostavby auditoria a vertikálním prvkem vyhlídkové věže. Součástí práce je také analýza trendů a příkladů podobných center současného umění a urbanistická studie zahrnující vyřešení napojení na okolí, definice možného funkčního využití navazujících ploch a vizi možné budoucí obnovy lokality. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract | The diploma thesis proposes a design for a creative hub in the town of Kopřivnice. The site would create an ideal environment for research, exhibitions and discussions about major social issues through various forms of art (e.g. visual art, literature, performing arts). The area of interest is situated in the centre of Kopřivnice, defined by the Štefánikova street from the southwest and by the railway from the northeast, which forms a boundary between the Tatra plant area and the rest of the town. Considering the historical context and the location, the area has potential, which could be fulfilled by a realisation of the creative hub of contemporary art. With my proposal, I try to showcase the actual value of the place and thus enrich the historical construction of bricked halls with the dynamics which organic curves of a new auditorium and the vertical aspect of an observation tower provide. The thesis includes an analysis of trends and examples of similar hubs for contemporary art and an urban study, including solutions for a connection to surroundings, a definition of the possible functional use of neighbouring areas and a vision for potential restoration of the area. | en |
