| dc.description.abstract | Modular construction is an innovative approach that is gaining popularity in response to the increasing demand for sustainable building solutions. This article introduces a modular hexagonal construction developed at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Košice. The contribution presents the genesis of its development, based on the analysis of modular construction and the synthesis of knowledge required for the design and development of a specific modular structure concept. The article highlights the potential for various solutions depending on the purpose of the modular construction. In this context, it contributes to the advancement of sustainable architecture in the pursuit of achieving environmentally friendly building solutions. | en |
