Abstract

Galerie architektury, moderního umění a designu. Nachází se na nároží ulic Milady Horákové a Koliště. V dané lokalitě je výrazným problémem hluk, mým záměrem proto bylo vytvořit kompaktní budovu a dodržet uliční čáru. U návrhu galerijní cesty jsem se inspiroval spirálovitou galerijní cestou F. L. Wrighta, kterou použil v Guggenheimově muzeu, tuto cestu jsem upravil pro své účely. Spirálu jsem zdeformoval a roztáhl do tvaru osmičky – tu jsem z praktických důvodů poskládal z rovných segmentů. Ride up, walk down entertained. Návštěvník po vstupu do objektu vyjede výtahem až do nejvyššího patra a cestou dolů prochází expozicí po rampách, které mají třístupňový sklon, skončí u východu a odchází, popřípadě může posedět v kavárně, která je umístěna v přízemí.Gallery of Architecture, modern art and design. Located on the corner of Milady Horakove and may fluctuate. In the area the noise is a serious problem, therefore my intention was to create a compact building and follow the street line. To design the gallery path I was inspired by the spiral gallery path by FL Wright, which he used in the Guggenheim Museum NYC. This spiral path I have modified for my purposes. I have deformed the spiral path and stretched it into a figure eight. And for practical reasons I have divided the spiral into the straight segments. "Ride up, walk down entertained." Visitors enter the building and ride elevator up to the top floor and on the way down through slightly ramps (3 grd) the visitors are entertained by the exhibition. On the ground floor, at the end of exhibition you can sit in the cafe or leave the galery.
