Abstract

Zadáním této práce bylo najít vlastní interpretaci tématu studentského ubytování. Návrh klade důraz na tři hlavní oblasti: kapacitu, sociální interakci a přínos pro město. Ubytovací kapacita činí celkem 510 lůžek. Studenti si mohou vybrat z různých typů pokojů lišících se velikostí, mírou soukromí a cenovou dostupností, což umožňuje přizpůsobit bydlení individuálním potřebám. Důležitou roli v návrhu hraje podpora sociální interakce. Budovy vytvářejí vnitroblok, který slouží jako hlavní komunitní prostor – místo pro setkávání, sportovní aktivity i drobné kulturní akce. Dalšími prostory pro společné aktivity jsou bar, kulturní sály a pracovní dílna situované v parteru, které podporují sdílení, kreativitu i organizaci studentského života. Klíčovým aspektem je otevřenost a přínos návrhu pro širší okolí. Aktivní parter s pestrou nabídkou komerčních funkcí oživuje přilehlé městské prostředí a podporuje kontakt mezi studenty a veřejností. Vnitroblok je navržen jako poloveřejný, čímž rozšiřuje spektrum uživatelů a zvyšuje atraktivitu celého areálu.

The assignment for this project was to find an interpretation of the topic of student housing. The design emphasizes three main areas: capacity, social interaction, and benefits for the city. The accommodation capacity totals 510 beds. Students can choose from various types of rooms differing in size, level of privacy, and affordability, allowing for housing that can be tailored to individual needs. Supporting social interaction plays an important role in the design. The buildings form a courtyard that serves as the main community space—a place for gatherings, sports activities, and small cultural events. Additional spaces for communal activities include a bar, cultural halls, and a workshop located on the ground floor, which foster sharing, creativity, and the organization of student life. A key aspect of the proposal is its openness and contribution to the wider surroundings. The active ground floor, with a diverse range of commercial functions, enlivens the adjacent urban environment and encourages interaction between students and the public. The courtyard is designed as a semi-public space, expanding the range of users and enhancing the overall appeal of the complex.
