Abstract
Tento text chce upozornit na význam Habemasovi komunikativní teorie, který v textech několika plánovačů 2. poloviny 20. století zanechal přímou odezvu či se nepřímo objevuje i v dalších. Forester v procesu komunikace vyzdvihuje důležitost informací, Healey dále rozvíjí otázky kooperace občanů a veřejné správy a problém budování její kapacity. Fainstein a Sandercock zpracovaly souhrnné texty, přičemž Fainstein vystavuje komunikativní model dílčí kritice, zatímco Sandercock ho zasazuje do širšího kontextu obhájcovského a radikálního urbanismu. V závěru se propracovávám až k paradigmu sociálního učení, které je dalším svébytným teoretickým směrem. Konstatuji, že možnosti kvalitní komunikace nebyly v českém prostředí ještě zcela vyčerpány.
The aim of this research is to highlight the value of the Habermas communicative theory that appears in articles of several planners during the second half of the 20th century with a direct response or appears indirectly in the others. In the communication process Forester highlights the issue of information; Healey studies further the cooperation between citizens and public administration and the problem of institutional capacity building. Fainstein and Sandercock provide summary articles. Fainstein exposes the communicative theory some criticism, Sandercock puts it into broader context of advocacy and radical planning. In the end, this leads us to the paradigm of social learning – another important theoretical direction. I note that there are still opportunities to enhance the quality of communication between citizens and public policy in the Czech Republic.
