Abstract

Dnes nevyužívaný hotel ze 70. let v centru Bystřice pod Hostýnem představuje brownfield cestovního ruchu. Projekt navrhuje jeho proměnu v obytný a komunitní dům s minimálními stavebními zásahy, důrazem na udržitelnost a cílené hospodaření s prostředky. Zásadním principem návrhu je práce s meziprostorem. Vložené konstrukce vytvářejí vytápěné obytné objemy – domy v domě – obklopené soustavou nevytápěných zimních zahrad, komunikačních koridorů a poloveřejných zón. Tyto vrstvy fungují jako tepelný filtr, přispívají k akumulaci tepla. Meziprostor se uplatňuje také v prostorovém uspořádání: mezi jednotlivými provozy vznikají sdílené zóny s různou mírou soukromí a otevřenosti. Dispoziční a konstrukční řešení umožňuje sezónní provoz i budoucí změny. Všechny nové zásahy jsou čitelné, snadno demontovatelné a respektují původní strukturu objektu.

The now-vacant 1970s hotel in the centre of Bystřice pod Hostýnem represents a tourism brownfield. The project proposes its transformation into a residential and community-oriented building with minimal structural interventions, an emphasis on sustainability, and careful use of resources. A key concept of the design is the use of in-between spaces. Inserted structures form heated living volumes — houses within a house — surrounded by a system of unheated winter gardens, corridors, and semi-public zones. These layers function as a thermal buffer and contribute to the accumulation of heat. The in-between space is also reflected in the spatial organisation: shared areas with varying degrees of openness and privacy are placed between individual programmes. The layout and construction approach support seasonal and partial use of the building. All new interventions are designed to be distinct, reversible, and respectful to the existing structure.
