Geometric algebras for Euclidean geometry

Abstract

Doktorská práce sjednocuje matematickou teorii geometrických algeber G_3, PGA, CGA a jejich 2D alternativ. Je popsáno vnoření těchto algeber, včetně sjednocení reprezentací geometrických objektů a transformací. Vlastnosti 2D algeber jsou využity k řešení planárních problémů v obecné rovině v 3D. Dále jsou demonstrovány aplikace algeber na jednoduchém robotickém manipulátoru. Dále je implementována algebra GAC jako matice 4x4 prvků CRA. K popisu izomorfismu mezi těmito strukturami je použita Bottova periodicita. Příklady jsou implementovány v jazyce Python pomocí balíčku Clifford.The doctoral thesis unifies the mathematical theory of the geometric algebras G_3, PGA, CGA, and their 2D alternatives. The embedding of these algebras is described, including the unification of representations of geometric objects and transformations. The properties of 2D algebras are used to solve planar problems in a general plane in 3D. Next, the applications of algebras are demonstrated using a simple robotic manipulator. Finally, the GAC algebra is implemented as matrices 4x4 of CRA elements. Bott periodicity is used to describe the isomorphism between these structures. The examples are implemented in Python using the Clifford package.
