Návrh a realizácia emulačného modelu siete Campus LAN s implementovaním mechanizmov QoS

Abstract

The content of the presented article is focused on the problem of data transmission ofthe interactive communication in the Campus LAN networks. This article contains a proposal andthe procedure for the realization of the corporate network. It further describes the configuration andsettings of the modern network traffic emulator and the program for the evaluation of the obtaineddata. At the end of the article is analysis of the suitability of FIFO and CBWFQ QoS mechanisms inthe Campus LAN networks.Úlohou predkladaného článku je priblížiť problematiku prenosu dát interaktívnej komunikácie v sieťach Campus LAN. Článok obsahuje návrh a postup pri realizácií časti podnikovej siete. Ďalej popisuje konfiguračné nastavenia moderného emulátora sieťovej prevádzky a program zhotovený za účelom vyhodnotenia získaných údajov. V závere článok analyzuje vhodnosť použitia QoS mechanizmov FIFO a CBWFQ v sieťach Campus LAN.
