Nástroj pro konfiguraci a správu databáze Cloudberry v Business Intelligence

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem, implementací a testováním softwarového nástroje pro společnost AMBICA. Tento nástroj je zaměřen na správu a konfiguraci masivně paralelní databáze Apache Cloudberry v oblasti Business Intelligence. Hlavním cílem nástroje je zefektivnit nasazení a provoz této databáze. Mezi klíčové funkce patří sledování aktuálního stavu a vytížení databáze v reálném čase. Teoretická část práce uvádí do problematiky velkých dat, paralelních architektur a Business Intelligence. Následuje detailní popis architektury databáze Apache Cloudberry. Práce dále analyzuje požadavky společnosti, představuje návrh architektury vyvíjeného nástroje a popisuje jeho implementaci. Nakonec je provedeno vyhodnocení pomocí testů, které ověřují efektivitu navrženého řešení pro konfiguraci a monitoring databáze.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design, implementation and testing of a software tool for AMBICA. This tool focuses on the management and configuration of the massively parallel Apache Cloudberry database in the field of Business Intelligence. The main objective of the tool is to streamline the deployment and operation of this database. Key features include real-time monitoring of the current status and utilization of the database. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the issues of big data, parallel architectures and Business Intelligence. This is followed by a detailed description of the Apache Cloudberry database architecture. The thesis further analyzes the requirements of the company, presents the architecture design of the developed tool and describes its implementation. Finally, an evaluation is performed using tests to verify the effectiveness of the proposed solution for database configuration and monitoring.
