Abstract

Predmetom diplomovej práce je architektonický návrh domova pre seniorov situovaného na kopci Urpín v Banskej Bystrici. Zámerom projektu je vytvorenie komplexného areálu, ktorý okrem samotného domova pre seniorov v sebe zahŕňa aj funkcie hotelu a wellness centra. Toto spojenie funkcií prináša nové možnosti pre medzigeneračné stretávanie, aktívny oddych a podporu duševného aj fyzického zdravia obyvateľov a návštevníkov areálu. Návrh kladie dôraz na správne zasadenie objektov do prírodného prostredia, efektívne využitie parcely a rešpektovanie terénnych daností lokality. Projekt nadväzuje na preddiplomový projekt vypracovaný v zimnom semestri.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the architectural design of a home for seniors located on the Urpín hill in Banská Bystrica. The aim of the project is to include a complex area, which, in addition to the home for seniors itself, also includes the functions of a hotel and a wellness center. This combination of functions brings new opportunities for intergenerational meetings, active relaxation and support for the mental and physical health of residents and visitors to the area. The proposal emphasizes the correct placement of objects in the natural environment, effective use of the plot and respect for the terrain characteristics of the location. The project follows on from the pre-diploma project developed in the winter semester.
