dc.description.abstractThe increasing demand for spectrum resources and the need for reducing the burden of modern electronic combat platforms have prompted the development of integrated radar and communication systems. An integrated radar and communication waveform scheme based on Chirp-rate Hopping Modulation (CrHM) is proposed in this paper to realize target detection and information transmission simultaneously. The CrHM signal can be regarded as the synthesis of multiple sub-pulses, and each sub-pulse is a chirp signal, which is determined by the communication information sequence. The performance of the CrHM signal is analyzed, including the ambiguity function, the principle of demodulation, and the robust properties of demodulation. Subsequently, several simulations are provided to testify the high weak target detection performance of the CrHM signal and robustness of demodulation.en
