| dc.description.abstract | This paper describes a simple method for the relative permittivity estimation of the wall by an ultra wideband (UWB) impulse radar system. I tis noninvasive reflected free space method, where the measuerent is employed from the single side of the wall. The condition for the best accuracy is short time window of the monitored signal, while there is an undesired reflection from the second side of the wall. Frequency dependence of the relative permittivity is then obtained from the reflection coefficien of the transmitted transverse electromagnetic wave. | dc.description.abstract | Tento príspevok opisuje jednoduchú metódu odhadu relatívnej permitivity steny pomocou širokopásmového (UWB) impulzného radarového systému. Jedná sa o neinvazívnu, reflexnú metódu merania vo voľnom priestore, pričom meranie prebieha iba z jednej strany steny. Podmienkou pre dosiahnutie čo najväčšej presnosti je krátke časové okno sledovaného signálu. Zamedzí sa tým neželaným odrazom z druhej strany steny (rozhrania stena/vzduch). Frekvenčná závislosť relatívnej permitivity je vyrátaná z koeficienta odrazu vysielanej transverzálne elektromagnetickej vlny. Ďalej tento príspevok opisuje demonštračné merania na dvoch rôznych stenách, pričom získané výsledky z týchto meraní sú overované tranzmisívnou metódou merania. | sk |
