Abstract
The article aims to evaluate today’s precise localization technologies with main focus ontheir positioning precision. The most precise outdoor and indoor radio localization technologies arepresented and thoroughly evaluated by several tests in both environments. The article also brie?ysummarizes the status of today’s positioning capabilities in both indoor and outdoor as well. Foroutside use, GNSS technologies are evaluated with focus on RTK while the indoor part is mainlyfocused on Ultra Wideband.
