Abstract

Projekt navazuje na předdiplomní práci, která se zaměřovala na proluky a „prázdné“ prostory v centru města Chrudim. K pochopení proluk využívá koncepci Terrain vague Ignasi de Sol-Moralese, jež zpochybňuje prázdnotu takovýchto prostor. Perspektivou ekonomické výtěžnosti prázdné prostory sice leží mimo systémové okruhy města, ale zároveň rozhodně nejsou bez obsahu. Příkladem může být městská divočina v podobě náletů a R-ekosystémů, které se zde uchycují, nebo různé nesystémové aktivity, pro které jinde nezbylo místo. Svojí ambivalencí mezi prázdnem a obsahem pak taková místa ztělesňují možnost systémové alternativy, která ještě prozatím nebyla definována. Diplomní projekt se pak zabývá myšlenkou, zda lze principy vágnosti uplatnit při hledání alternativních forem bydlení a společného soužití.The project is a continuation of the pre-diploma thesis, which was focused on urban voids and "vacant" spaces in the city centre of Chrudim. To understand the urban voids it utilizes Ignasi de Sol-Morales' Terrain vague concept, which questions the emptiness of such spaces. From the perspective of economic yield, the empty spaces may lie outside the systemic circuits of the city, but at the same time they are certainly not without any content. Examples include urban wilderness in the form of encroachments and R-ecosystems that take hold there, or various non-systemic activities for which there is no space left elsewhere. In their ambivalence between emptiness and content, such places embody the possibility of a systemic alternative that has not yet been defined. The diploma thesis then explores the idea of whether the principles of vagueness can be applied to the search for alternative forms of living and coliving.
