| dc.description.abstract | Na stezky, silnice, cesty lze nahlížet mnoha způsoby – technicky, ekonomicky, historicky. Náš pohled je filosofický. Ovšem s filosofií se pojí principiální problém jejího jazyka: o čem jsou vlastně tvrzení filosofie? Jak ověřit jejich pravdivostní hodnotu? V textu je zmíněn známý Wittgensteinův skeptický imperativ o tom, že filosofie by měla mlčet, i když se pravda ve filosofických tvrzeních tajuplně ukazuje. Heidegger na onom ukazování staví svoji pozdní filosofii a jako specificky pravdivá filosofická tvrzení nabízí nejvyšší umělecké výkony. Tímto směrem se berou i naše úvahy zde: říci něco duchovního, filosofického o tématu cest znamená obrátit se k umění. Článek představuje několik jednoduchých argumentů pro přijetí ontologicky robustní teorie pravdy ukazování, alétheia, a metodou pars pro toto přibližuje několik textů o lidských proměnách na cestách, které by mohly vyhovovat heideggerovskému kritériu duchovní pravdivosti: Guevarovy Motocyklové deníky, dvě povídky Isaaca Bashevise Singera a Pirsigovo opus magnum Zen a umění údržby motocyklu. V umění se může inženýr dozvědět, že jeho práce má rys věčnosti, neboť je jednou z nutných podmínek proměny člověka. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract | Trails, roads, paths can be viewed in many ways - technically, economically, historically. Our view is philosophical. However, philosophy has a fundamental problem with its language: what are the claims of philosophy actually about? How to verify their truth value? The text mentions Wittgenstein's famous sceptical imperative that philosophy should remain silent, even when the truth in philosophical claims is mysteriously revealed. Heidegger builds his late philosophy on that pointing and offers the highest artistic achievements as specifically true philosophical statements. This is also the direction in which our considerations here take us: to say something spiritual, philosophical about the subject of journeys is to turn to art. This paper presents some simple arguments for adopting an ontologically robust theory of the truth of pointing, alétheia, and uses the pars pro toto method to present several texts about human transformations on the road that might fit the Heideggerian criterion of spiritual truthfulness: Guevara's Motorcycle Diaries, two short stories by Isaac Bashevis Singer, and Pirsig's magnum opus Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. In art, the engineer can learn that, pathetic as it may sound, his work has a feature of eternity, for it is one of the necessary conditions of human transformation. | en |
