| dc.description.abstract | Stejně jako se lidé v průběhu života mění a mění svoje povolání, tak se i stavby mění a nemusí po celou dobu své existence plnit pouze svůj prvotní účel. Ze šlechtických paláců se stávají muzea, ze zámků obrazárny a z průmyslových komplexů kulturní areály. I dopravní stavby, které na první pohled slouží pouze jednomu účelu, mohou změnit svoje poslání. Z kdysi prašné cesty se v průběhu staletí může stát významná dopravní tepna a spojnice. Může být užitečná dnes a ještě dlouho potřebná bude. Některé cesty však podlehly změně lidských potřeb, změnám státních útvarů, nemoudrým rozhodnutím či vědeckotechnické revoluci. Nemálo cest zaniklo a v krajině po nich nenalezneme žádné stopy. Mnoho cest dále plní svoji funkci, přestože je doplnily novější dálkové silnice či tratě. Ale jsou i takové cesty, které svoji dopravní funkci již neplní, avšak v krajině zůstaly, proměnily se či byly proměněny. Ne vždy jsou jen němými svědky minulosti a památkami své dávné zašlé slávy, ale žijí dále. Čím tedy mohou cesty ve svém druhém životě být? Článek se věnuje dopravním cestám a jejich životní pouti. Zamýšlí se nad důvody rušení či změny jejich využití. Ukazuje, jak se mohou cesty přetvářet, měnit svoji funkci či se k ní opět vracet. Předkládá konkrétní případy u nás i v zahraničí. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract | Just as people change and change their occupations throughout their lives, so do buildings change and may not fulfil only their original purpose throughout their existence. Noble palaces become museums, castles become picture galleries and industrial complexes become cultural complexes. Even transport buildings that at first sight serve only one purpose can change their mission. Over the centuries, a once dirt road can become a major thoroughfare and a connection. It can be useful today and will be needed for a long time to come. But some roads have succumbed to changing human needs, changes in government departments, unwise decisions or the scientific and technological revolution. Many ways have disappeared and no trace of them can be found in the landscape. Many ways continue to serve their function, although they have been supplemented by newer trunk roads or railways. But there are also wayss that no longer fulfil their transport function but have remained in the landscape, have been transformed or have been transformed. They are not always just mute witnesses to the past and relics of their former glory, but they live on. So what can ways be in their second life? This article focuses on transport ways and their life pilgrimage. It reflects on the reasons for their closure or change of use. It shows how ways can transform, change their function or return to it. It presents concrete cases both at home and abroad. | en |
