Abstract

This work describes the development of a system meant for assistance in choosing the best suitable transport method when importing goods from China to the Czech Republic and provides a basic overview of the available import methods and connected terms. It consists of 3 main parts. Theoretical Foundations, where important terms and the transport methods themselves are introduced. Current Situation Analysis which includes the selected company's background, details on currently used transport methods and important conditions and criteria.
