The main objective of the theses was the development of the expert assisting system that helps with selection of appropriate transportation of the goods shipped from China. I see this objective fulfilled. The final proposal of the assist system is primarily based on detailed analysis of currently used shipping method. Based on that the author sets criteria and their weighting for calculation within the assist system. Scoring matrix is created based on that. Finally all the required equations are defined and programmed in MS Excel. Functionality of the system is proven on particular practical cases. I see the theses useful from the practical application point of view. The theses is on appropriate professional as well as formal level, I recommend it for the defence. Question for the defence: Where do you see major limitations of the proposed system? How to improve it in the future?

The main objective of the thesis has been achieved. The created expert assisting system that helps with selection of appropriate transportation of the goods is in line with the proposed objective. The author used appropriate methods to collect data and did requested analyses. The author interprets perfectly the conclusions from the conducted analyses. The formalities and terminology used are of a good standard. The proposal part contains the programmed expert assisting system in MS Excel. The citation standard is met. Question for defence: What do you think is currently the biggest barrier to import goods from China?
