Transformace městských lázní – Náměstí Svobody ve Znojmě

Abstract

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá prestavbou chátrajúcich kúpeľov na objekt s odlišným využitím a revitalizáciu jeho okolia, ktoré je v dnešnej dobe nevyužívané alebo využité ako parkovanie. Zámerom je vytvoriť knižnicu, ktorá spája kultúrny, komunitný a rekreačný priestor. Cieľom projektu je aj odstránenie parkovacích státí z námestia Slobody. Odstránenie priľahlých parkovacích státí a nevyužitých zelených plôch a ich následné oživenie polyfunkčnými budovami, ktoré prinesú do územia nové možnosti, verejné priestory. Ďalej koncept urbanistického a dopravného riešenia, ktoré spočíva v zjednodušení a spomalení dopravy jednoduchou križovatkou. Odstránenie regionálneho nástupišťa v prospech paralelných zastávok, ktoré iba umocňujú snahu spomaliť a ukľudniť dopravu. Dôležitým prvkom návrhu je aj pripomienka synagógy, ktorá sa v tejto lokalite nachádzala. Navrhnutá pamätná inštalácia má návštevníkom pripomínať židovskú kultúrnu stopu v histórii mesta. Cieľom projektu je harmonické prepojenie historického odkazu miesta s potrebami súčasného mestského života.

This bachelor thesis deals with the reconstruction of the dilapidated spa building into a facility with a different use, along with the revitalization of its surroundings, which is currently either unused or used as parking space. The goal is to create a library that combines cultural, community, and recreational spaces. The project also aims to remove parking spaces from Freedom Square. The removal of adjacent parking spaces and underused green areas, followed by their revitalization with multifunctional buildings, will bring new opportunities and public spaces to the area. Furthermore, the concept includes urban and traffic solutions that aim to simplify and slow down traffic with a simple intersection. The removal of the regional bus station in favor of parallel stops further supports the goal of slowing down and calming traffic. An important element of the design is the memorial to the synagogue that once stood in this location. The proposed memorial installation will remind visitors of the Jewish cultural legacy in the city's history. The project's goal is to harmoniously connect the historical heritage of the site with the needs of contemporary urban life.
