Abstract
There are more methods described for azimuth panning of the sound source. This article describes the method for speculative rendering of distance between sound source and listener in horizontal plane by their location in the virtual room of rectangular shape and simulation of sound waves propagation in the horizontal plane from the sound source to the listener in this room. This article describes an algorithm of calculation and simulation of sound waves in a closed space, and also describes the design of dimensions and topology of this virtual room, in which the sound source and listener are placed. This method was applied in MATLAB by the design of application for sound source panning.
