Mobile application for electrophoretic gel image processing
(Vysoké učení technické v Brně, Fakulta elektrotechniky a komunikačních technologií, 2023) Mojžišová, Anna
This paper describes a mobile application thatassists in the analysis of 1D gel electrophoresis images. It providesfunctions for image processing, band detection, lane segmentation, and molecular weight approximation. The designed methods wereextensively tested using a dataset of diverse gel images. Theapplication provides a convenient and portable tool for theanalysis of electrophoresis images on-the-go.

Implementation of a deep learning model for vertebral segmentation in CT data
(Vysoké učení technické v Brně, Fakulta elektrotechniky a komunikačních technologií, 2023) Blažkova, Lenka; Nohel, Michal
This paper deals with the problem of vertebral segmentationin CT data with the use of deep learning approaches.Automatic segmentation of vertebrae is a very complex issueand would simplify the work of radiologists and doctors. Thepaper is focused on one of the models published and submittedto the Large Scale Vertebrae Segmentation Challenge (VerSe) in2020 from C. Payer et al. – Improving Coarse to Fine VertebraeLocalisation and Segmentation with SpatialConfiguration-Netand U-Net and its implementation and modification. The modelis evaluated on the corresponding public and hidden dataset. Itsmodification shows an improvement of the results in comparisonwith the published results, a mean Dice score improved from0.9165 to 0.9302 on the public dataset and from 0.8971 to 0.9264on the hidden dataset.

Test Polygon for the Role of Power Line Communication in ensuring ISO 15118 and IEC 61851 Compliance in EVSE Technology
(Vysoké učení technické v Brně, Fakulta elektrotechniky a komunikačních technologií, 2023) Rusz, Martin; Mlýnek, Petr
The conference paper focuses on the testing ofa polygon for the role of Power Line Communication (PLC) inensuring compliance with ISO 15118 and IEC 61851 standardsin Electric Vehicle Supply Equipments (EVSE). The study aimsto validate the effectiveness of the proposed polygon as a testplatform for evaluating the performance and interoperabilityof EVSEs that utilize PLC technology for communication withelectric vehicle (EV). The proposed polygon is a reliable testplatform for evaluating the compliance of EVSEs with ISO15118 and IEC 61851 standards, and can help in identifying andresolving interoperability issues between different EVSEs andEVs. The paper highlights the importance of ensuring compliancewith these standards for the reliable and efficient operation ofEVSEs, and demonstrates the potential of the proposed testpolygon as a useful tool for achieving this goal.

Field emission characteristics and analysis of chargé flow through graphite based cathodes
(Vysoké učení technické v Brně, Fakulta elektrotechniky a komunikačních technologií, 2023) Allaham, Mohammad M.; Burda, Daniel; Sobola, Dinara; Knápek, Alexandr
This paper studies the performance of differenttypes of graphite cathodes when operated as field emissionelectron sources. The tested cathodes were prepared in theform of bulk polymer graphite, bulk pure graphite, and polymergraphite coated with thin layer of insulating material(epoxy resin). The obtained results include X-Ray photoelectronspectroscopy analysis, scanning electron micrographs, the fieldemission microscope patterns and current-voltage characteristics, and the orthodoxy test analysis results. The importance of thisstudy is summarized in following the pursuit of finding cheapand green electron sources. Moreover, to present a new exoticfield emission behavior in the form of emission pulses.

Identifying Anomalies in Industrial Networks: A Proposed Testbed for Experimental Evaluation
(Vysoké učení technické v Brně, Fakulta elektrotechniky a komunikačních technologií, 2023) Kuchar, Karel; Blazek, Petr
Not only because of the convergence of InformationTechnology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) networks, thepass-through network environment needs to be monitored andadequate security implemented. Due to the occurrence of differenttypes of anomalies and their inconsistency in the literature, three main types of anomalies have been identified in this paperand a testbed has been proposed to serve for further experimentaltesting. This testbed was created using an anemometer and inthe current state using an accelerometer. From the results sofar, a correlation between the normal condition and the inducedoperational anomaly can be observed.
