dc.description.abstractThis article addresses the issue of automobile traffic generated by commuting to elementary schools. Although elementary schools are significant traffic generators, especially during peak morning hours, they are not adequately considered in the current methodology for predicting traffic intensities. This article provides a brief overview of the current approach to the determination of traffic intensity and defines the methods used for data collection, these are properly discussed and evaluated.en
