The 2023 update of Eurocode 2 (EC2) allows the use of steels with higher tensile strength, enabling more efficient designs and better material utilization. Research has explored the properties of these steels and developed design models. These high-strength steels affect bond strength, transfer lengths, and anchorage systems. The article highlights the impact of these steels on structural performance.en
