| dc.description.abstract | Článek se zabývá ověřením vzorce uvedeného v publikaci Colyna Glynna a Denise P. Wooda s názvem Metody rekonstrukce nehod motocyklů – rychlost podle deformace vozidla a vzdálenosti sunutí motocyklu. Článek byl publikován ve sborníku jako příspěvek XXV. mezinárodní vědecká konference Soudního inženýrství ExFoS 2016. Ověření vychází ze skutečného případu, který posuzoval autor článku. Prezentovaná situace ilustruje, že není možné výsledky výpočtů brát zcela nekriticky a, že každý výsledek by měl být podroben kontrole hrubých chyb. Autor měl pochybnosti o výsledku výpočtů, vyhledal si původní text, ve kterém se použitý vzorec mírně lišil a při použití ve výpočtech již poskytoval výsledky podobné výsledkům očekávaným. Na závěr autor poukázal na chybu ve způsobu nouzového brzdění motocyklu, které se řidiči motocyklů dopouštějí často, a která končí položením motocyklu na bok. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract | Correction of the formula given in the paper by Colyn Glynn and Denis P. Wood Motorcycle reconstruction methods. Motorcycle speed evaluation from slide distance is presented. The paper was published in the proceedings from the Expert Forensic Science Conference. The formula has been verified on a real-life road event the expert evidence of which was reported by the author of the present article. This case illustrates a principle which says that no calculation results should be approached uncritically and each result should be checked for the possibility of making a grave error. To dispel his doubts, the author reached for the source manuscript in which the formula employed in the calculations was slightly different than the one given in the paper referred to, and its use yielded results convergent with the expected ones. Finally, the author points out the unsuitable tactic of motorcycle emergency braking, frequently adopted by motorcycle riders, which ends in laying the motorcycle on its side. | en |
