Nový magistrát města Brna

Abstract

Témou diplomovej práce je architektonický návrh nového magistrátu mesta Brna. Cieľom je dostať všetky odbory a pracoviská magistrátu dostať na jedno miesto, aby si ľudia vedeli všetko vybaviť na jednom mieste. Riešené územie sa nachádza na začiatku navrhovanej Južnej štvrti, na hranici historického centra a novej mestskej časti. Navrhuje sa tu bulvár, ktorý prepojí nové hlavné nádražie s centrum, a takto bude magistrát dobre dostupný každému, a bude slúžiť ako vstup do novej štvrti. Magistrát som v návrhu rozdelila do dvoch budov – do hlavnej budovy A, ktorá bude mať strednú až vysokú návštevnosť, a do vedľajšej budovy B, ktorá bude mať nízku až vylúčenú návštevnosť – bude štandardnejšia administratívna budova. Obe budovy sú riešené ako osempodlažné so spoločným podpivničením. V parteri sa nachádza komercia, bistro/kaviareň pre návštevníkov, coworkingový priestor, kde môžu ľudia prísť kedykoľvek pracovať, študovať, alebo len tráviť čas, spoločne s výstavným sálom, kde bude vždy vystavené aktuálne tvorenie a dianie mesta. V parteri sú tiež prepážky na vybavovanie a prednáškové, zasadacie miestnosti. Ďalšie podlažia fungujú ako administratívne podlažia s čakárňami pre návštevníkov. V poslednom podlaží sa okrem iného nachádza jedáleň zamestnancov, kancelária primátorky a veľké strešné terasy s krásnym výhľadom. Forma aj kompozícia magistrátu sa snaží ľudí mesta privolávať a nie odstrašiť – či to formovaním otvoreného náručia, presklením pre priehľadnosť, alebo hravou fasádou.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the architectural design of a new city hall for the city of Brno. The aim is to bring all departments and offices of the city hall into one place so that people can handle everything in a single location. The proposed site is located at the beginning of the planned Southern District, on the border between the historical center and the new city quarter. A boulevard is proposed that will connect the new main train station with the city center, making the city hall easily accessible to everyone and serving as an entrance to the new district. In the design, I divided the city hall into two buildings – the main building A, which will have medium to high visitor traffic, and the secondary building B, which will have low to no public traffic – functioning more as a standard administrative building. Both buildings are designed as eight-story structures with a shared basement level. On the ground floor, there are commercial spaces, a bistro/café for visitors, a coworking space where people can come anytime to work, study, or simply spend time, along with an exhibition hall showcasing current city projects and events. The ground floor also includes service counters and rooms for lectures and meetings. The upper floors function as administrative levels with waiting areas for visitors. The top floor includes, among other things, a staff canteen, the mayor's office, and large rooftop terraces offering beautiful views. The form and composition of the city hall aim to attract and welcome the city's people rather than intimidate – through the open-armed layout, transparency from glass elements, and a playful façade.
