Abstract

Abstrakt Návrh obnovy bývalého hotela Podhoran v Bystřici pod Hostýnem predstavuje kritickú adaptáciu socialistickej stavby z konca 70. rokov 20. storočia na polyfunkčný mestský dom. Projekt reaguje na zmenený spoločenský kontext a snaží sa budovu znovu začleniť do života mesta cez aktiváciu parteru, otvorenie budovy okoliu a flexibilitu nových verejných priestorov. Parter zahŕňa hotelové lobby s barom, reštauráciu a multifunkčný priestor s variabilným zariadením a deliacim systémom založeným na závesoch. Návrh rešpektuje pôvodnú architektúru a zároveň ju transformuje podľa princípov kritickej obnovy – zohľadňuje historické a materiálové vrstvy stavby (Riegl), zabezpečuje čitateľnosť zásahov (Brandi), a kladie dôraz na kontext a adaptabilitu (Hild). Budova tak získava novú spoločenskú hodnotu, pričom si zachováva svoj autentický architektonický výraz. Projekt predstavuje alternatívu k asanácii a ponúka udržateľný model transformácie architektonicky a spoločensky zneistených objektov.

989 / 5 000 The proposal for the renovation of the former Podhoran Hotel in Bystřice pod Hostýnem represents a critical adaptation of a socialist building from the late 1970s into a multifunctional town house. The project responds to the changed social context and seeks to reintegrate the building into the life of the city through the activation of the ground floor, the opening of the building to its surroundings and the flexibility of new public spaces. The ground floor includes a hotel lobby with a bar, a restaurant and a multifunctional space with variable equipment and a partition system based on curtains. The proposal respects the original architecture and at the same time transforms it according to the principles of critical renovation – it takes into account the historical and material layers of the building (Riegl), ensures the legibility of the interventions (Brandi), and emphasizes context and adaptability (Hild). The building thus acquires a new social value, while preserving its authentic architectural expression. The project represents an alternative to redevelopment and offers a sustainable model for the transformation of architecturally and socially precarious buildings.
