Abstract
Galerie architektury, umění a designu. Nachází se na brněnské okružní třídě. Nároží křížení ulic Milady Horákové a Koliště. Budova doplňuje linie ulic a zdůrazňuje svůj akcent - nároží, zkosením. Budova galerie vychází z tradičního modelu s ústřední vstupní halou a křídli. Centrální hala situovaná na nároží, svou proměnlivou transparentností vysílá informaci o dění uvnitř a láká potencionální návštěvníky galerie. Dvě postranní křídla jsou dělena na křídlo umělecké s výstavními prostory a na křídlo technické s dílnami a doprovodnými funkcemi.
Gallery of Architecture, Art and Design. Located at the Brno ring road, at the intersection of Milady Horakove street and Koliště street. The building complets the lines of streets and tapers its accent - the corner. The gallery building is based on the traditional model with a central entrance hall and wings. Central hall situated on the corner, with its variable transparency sends information about what is happening inside and attracts potential gallery visitors. The two side wings are divided on the wing with art exhibition spaces and the technical wing with workshops and supporting functions.
