dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with the application of nonlinear model predictive control for permanent magnet synchronous motor drive control. The proposed algorithm is compared with well-known field oriented control with the focus on the ability of velocity and current control. Finally, computational demands of the proposed algorithm are discussed.en
