dc.description.abstractThis paper describes SPIHT algorithm for color images and it's implementation in JAVA. The paper is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals with two-dimensional wavelet transform and it's implementation as polyphase lifting structure and detail description of SPIHT algorithm. Practical part consist of notes on implementation in JAVA and testing part.en
dc.description.abstractClánek se zabývá teoretickým pozadím a realizací ztrátové komprese statický obrazových dat pomocí algorimu SPIHT. Použitý kompresní algoritmus zpracovává koeficienty 2D vlnkové transformace, která se provádí optimalizovaným výpoctem pomocí lifting schématu. Byly také použity dve modifikace základního SPIHT algoritmu, umožnující práci s barevnou informací obrazu. Kodér byl také upraven tak, aby mohl být obraz zpracováván po segmentech. Clánek obsahuje odkaz na program, na kterém je možné vlastnosti kodéru vyzkoušet.cs
