Harmincov palác na Myjave

Abstract

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá revitalizáciou historickej budovy Harmincovho paláca na Myjave. Objekt, prestavaný architektom Milanom Michalom Harmincom v roku 1905, predstavuje významnú architektonickú dominantu centra mesta a v súčasnosti je nevyužívaný. Práca uvažuje s jeho prestavbou na múzeum mesta Myjava, zriadením turistickej informačnej kancelárie a rozšírením nedostatočnej ubytovacej kapacity susedného hotela Štefánik. Prvá časť práce je zameraná na architektonicko-stavebné riešenie rekonštrukcie objektu s cieľom zachovania jeho historickej hodnoty a zároveň minimalizácie energetickej náročnosti budovy. Druhá časť sa venuje návrhu techniky prostredia stavieb so zámerom dosiahnuť vysokú energetickú efektívnosť technických systémov a zabezpečiť racionálne nakladanie s energiou v objekte. Tretia časť práce je spracovaná ako samostatná optimalizačná štúdia systému prípravy teplej vody pomocou fotovoltických panelov a plynového kotla. Na základe analýzy reálnej prevádzky a nameraných údajov boli navrhnuté technické a regulačné úpravy vedúce k zvýšeniu využitia obnoviteľnej energie a zníženiu prevádzkových nákladov. Diplomová práca sa snaží o rozvoj kultúrneho a spoločenského života mesta Myjava, poukazuje na nutnosť spolupráce jednotlivých profesií už v počiatku projektovania a zároveň zdôrazňuje dôležitosť individuálneho prístupu pri návrhu, realizácii a prevádzke technických systémov v budovách.

The Master’s thesis focuses on the design of the revitalization and building services systems of the historic Harminc Palace in Myjava. The building, designed by architect Milan Michal Harminc in 1905, represents a significant architectural landmark of the town centre and is currently unused. The thesis considers its conversion into the Myjava Town Museum, the establishment of a tourist information centre, and the expansion of the insufficient accommodation capacity of the adjacent Hotel Štefánik. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the architectural and structural design of the building revitalization, with the aim of preserving its historical value while minimising the energy demand of the building. The second part addresses the design of building services systems, with the objective of achieving high energy efficiency of the technical systems and ensuring rational energy management within the building. The third part of the thesis is prepared as an independent optimisation study of a domestic hot water system using photovoltaic panels and a gas boiler. Based on the analysis of real operational conditions and measured data, technical and control modifications were proposed to increase the utilisation of renewable energy sources and to reduce operating costs. This Master’s thesis aims to support the development of the cultural and social life of the town of Myjava. It highlights the necessity of close collaboration among different professional disciplines from the earliest stages of the design process and emphasizes the importance of an individual approach to the design, implementation, and operation of building services systems.
