Využití nástrojů projektového managementu v praxi

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a podrobným popisem životního cyklu projektu vybrané IT společnosti, jeho zhodnocením a implementací návrhu na zlepšení. Teoretická část práce popisuje metody projektového managementu, které jsou dále využity v části práce, která se zabývá samotným návrhem řešení. Následně je analyzován současný stav technického prostředí společnosti zadavatele projektu a situace společnosti na trhu. Hlavní část práce popisuje návrh migrace současných terminálových farem společnosti zákazníka do cloudových datacenter nového poskytovatele terminálových služeb, s využitím metod a nástrojů projektového managementu. Závěrem jsou uvedeny přínosy projektu pro společnost.The diploma thesis deals with an analysis and detailed description of a particular IT company's project lifecycle, its evaluation and an improvement plan implementation. Theoretical part of the thesis contains methods of the project management which are further used in the planning part of the thesis. This is followed by an analysis of the current state of the technical facilities of the customer's company, and a market analysis of the company. The main part of this thesis is focused on describing the solution for migration of existing terminal farms of the customer to the cloud datacenters of the new provider of terminal services, using appropriate methods and tools of project management. The project's benefits for the company are listed in the conclusion.
