dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is hardware realization and testing of a simple system for biometric user authentication based on finger veins detection. Proposed biometric system is cheap and able to achieve matching accuracy (EER) of 8,96 % for a testing group of 12 people. Crosscorrelation of vein patterns is used for comparison of extracted features with templates. This approach gives interesting results. | en |
